Celebrate your special day in a 19th century Village setting. The ceremony may be held in an authentic 1850's church or outdoors in one of the charming locations scattered through the Village.
Wedding photographs may be taken in the
Village no matter where the ceremony was
performed, even if it took place at an

Filming
The Howick Historical Village continues to meet a growing demand from New Zealand film companies and others seeking the use of its grounds, dwellings. Overseas magazine 'Fashion Shoots' (as well as our own country’s publications) have also become regular visitors, with our 1840 to 1880 period providing an excellent contrast for latest clothing and accessories.
Generally speaking our fee of $1,000 per day (plus GST) includes –
Parking, including some off street parking (plus discrete additional vehicle access close to some buildings)
Changing rooms, shower and toilet facilities
8am start to 5pm finish (outside these times by prior arrangement and pricing)
Café and restaurant facilities (by arrangement)
Power
Use of over 30 historical buildings ranging from a wealthy landowner’s residence to a sod cottage beside a large pond
A blacksmith’s shop, general store, mill and water wheel help complete the picture of Auckland at an early stage of development.
