Internships
Internships are offered throughout the year and best suit students or graduates looking to gain hands on experience in the heritage industry.
These are unpaid placements in your choice of collection care or curatorial based projects. Applications may now be made for internships.
We are now offering a unique experience for interns interested in horticulture and heritage. This would be a one day a week placement for a minimum of 6 months, working one on one with our Restoration Ecologist.
It is an opportunity to gain work experience in an open air living heritage museum, covering 7 acres, and with a heritage plant collection. Applications may now be made for internships in 2009.
For more information on the Howick Historical Village internships contact Debra Kane, Collection Manager at collections@fencible.org.nz or phone (09) 576 9506.
