Menu Highlights

We have a variety of home cooked hot dishes on our menu, and there are always gluten-free and vegetarian items to choose from in the cabinet.

There is a range of hot dishes ranging from macaroni cheese, fish pie and cottage pie, to stacks and quiches. These may be served with a salad on the side. All day breakfasts are also available, along with our daily blackboard specials.

All our food is cooked on the premises, and our scones and muffins are baked daily.

Try our Devonshire Teas - a light, fresh baked scone, served with berry jam and whipped cream. Or indulge yourself with a passionfruit and apple tart, drizzled with a tart coulis, and with cream on the side.

At the Homestead Café, we believe that life is too short to drink bad coffee. Come along and give ours a try, and take a loyalty hot drinks card for your return visits.

We also serve a range of cold drinks, and of course, we have a BYO license, so you can bring your own wine if you wish. A corkage fee applies.

Some of our specialities include: Vegetarian frittata, mother’s chicken pie, cottage pie, stuffed kumara, lasagnas, and smoked fish pie.
