Entire Historical Village Monday, 09 July 2018, 10:00 am - 2:00 pm

Become an explorer these holidays and uncover treasurers from our past.  Go on a 'Treasure Hunt' around the Village!  There are many 'Treasures of old' hidden within the village.  Follow the clues to find all the items and claim your 'Gold' Coin Prize!

In addition to this, you can join our Villagers for fun and games at 11am and 2pm Monday to Friday only.

Mondays - Costumed Photos - Come and get dressed up in olden days clothes and take your photo.  Treasure your photographic memory of your visit.

Tuesdays - Cooking on the Range - Learn how to make bread by hand and smell the aroma as it cooks on the range.  Take home a treasured recipe to share with friends and family.

Wednesday - Make a children's toy - Towys were a atreasured possession of children in the olden days.  Make your own Peg Doll Toy to treasure for years to come.

Thursdays - Archaeology Dig - Become and explorer and join an archaeology dig to uncover long forgotten items.  See if you can find a treasure from the past.

Fridays - Rag Rug Making - Everything was treasured in the past, even old ripped clothes! 

Entire Historical Village Sunday, 15 July 2018, 10:00 am - 4:00 pm

Join us this Live Day and experience life in a 19th century village and admire our treasures from the past. Join the villagers in the various activities; make butter by hand, attend a Victorian school lesson and sample food cooked on a coal range.   Come along and experience a day in the life of a Fencible Settler,  we are looking forward to meeting you.  

Entire Historical Village Thursday, 19 July 2018, 9:30 am - 3:00 pm

A fun-filled day moving around the Village by following coded instructions!  They may be Morse Code, Braille or pictogrammes - to lead you to activities such as baking treasure biscuits, making rag rugs or digging for treasure until you find the most valuable treasure of all.  New times of 9.30am until 3pm!  

Suitable for primary-school aged children. 

Bring a hat, a friend, a picnic lunch, a water bottle and an adventurous spirit. 

Bookings essential, online or in person $35 per child or $60 for two.
